It’s 2018 – there’s no excuse to not stay informed and educated about what’s going on in our world. One of my favorite ways to stay up to date on news, trends, and inspiring stories is through my morning emails. Of course, it’s a lot of information to digest so I pick and choose which ones to fully read every day, but I wanted to share all the ones I’ve found most useful. The Newsette
The Newsette targets career-minded women in their twenties & thirties by sharing things to know in the fashion industry, new partnerships between businesses, and curated items to splurge or save on. My favorite articles are “Pillow Talk” and “What She Does” that follow the morning, work, and night routines of women around the country. Sometimes these interviews include celebrities as well, which is always fun to learn about.
theSkimm
Reading theSkimm feels like getting a breakdown of the biggest stories in the world from your best friend. It covers all major news events into layman’s terms and is easy for all ages to read. I liked reading theSkimm to stay updated on all events ranging from the upcoming election to the World Series highlights.
Presidential Daily Brief
As someone who competes in pageants where interview questions can cover literally anything socially, economically, or politically happening in the world, this newsletter has been extremely helpful. Every day it covers the most important topics and dives deeper into them. I truly have felt like a more informed citizen since I started reading the daily brief. 50 million people who also subscribe to this feel the same!
PRSUIT
PRSUIT emails are all about inspiration and motivation, especially for those that are leaning towards leaving the traditional 9-5 lifestyle and becoming an entrepreneur. The articles are written by leaders from different industries about how they combatted failure, depression, confusion and achieved their dreams. The editor also adds in how long it’ll take to read an article which is a nice touch.
mindbodygreen
I signed up for mindbodygreen emails this past summer when I started learning more about meditation and mindfulness. Every day their newsletter has “5 Things You Need to Know Today” which I love to check in on to see what’s new in the world of wellness, health, food, and planet. I have already discovered some great new recipes and yoga videos from reading it over the past few months.
Morning Brew
To all my friends in business and finance industries – this one’s for you. The Morning Brew rounds up daily changes in the stock market and covers all influential stories about businesses and our economy. I’ve learned so much about the tech industry and partnerships through this. It’s the latest news from Wall Street to Silicon Valley.
Living with Confidence
This messages, written everyday by Dan Pedersen, are heart-warming to receive. Sometimes they mention God and it’s always nice to have that prayer and positivity to start off your day.
A Note from the Universe
This sweet little email cheers me up every morning. They are super brief notes, just a sentence or few, written by “The Universe” that remind us to stay happy and positive. Over 750,000 people in 185 countries are currently subscribed! They are even personalized with your name so that’s always special to read.
Spire & Co
This one only comes Monday morning but I thought I’d include it anyways. It’s the “Energy Email” from Spire & Co and it’s the perfect morning read to set your intentions for the following week. It includes great books to read, things to buy, and shows to look forward to.
Well, that’s my roundup! Let me know in the comments if I missed an awesome newsletter that you currently subscribe to, I would love to check it out!
